Microsoft Server 2003 MCSE/MCSA Security Boot Camp
The MCSE Security course is a 14-day Boot Camp that
prepares IT professionals to be able to install, deploy,
trouble shoot, and administrate Microsoft Windows Server 2003
based solutions. In addition, the MCSE Boot Camp will train IT
professionals to perform security tactics which consist of
designing and troubleshooting security features.
Overall, the MCSE certification will train your IT staff to
become competent to perform various Microsoft objectives
keeping your network both secure and efficient.
Audience
The course is for system administrators or system engineers
who have the foundational skills entailed in both the A+
and/or Network + that are looking to install, deploy, secure,
and administrate Microsoft based technology.
Boot Camp Pre-requisites
Students taking the MCSE boot camp should have passed both
the A+ and the Network + or have an equivalent job experience.
The equivalent experience must be at least 12 months
experience pertaining to designing, implementing,
administering, networking, and managing an existing Windows
2000 or 2003 network infrastructure. Specifically, the
following skills are recommended:
Windows 2000/2003 environment as a domain vs.. a
workgroup.
Basic IP fundamentals; IP addressing, subnet mask
formats, default gateways, and DNS.
An Active Directory environment.
